The Food Truck Plaza project, initiated by the City of New Orleans, celebrates the city’s vibrant culture by transforming a key public space into a lively hub for local food trucks, tailgating, and major Superdome events, including the 2025 Super Bowl. As part of the Call for Art initiative led by Arts New Orleans, Madison Roy and I were honored to be selected to lead this mural project.

I served as the project lead, overseeing 200 hours of planning and coordinating a powerhouse team of 11 women and non-binary artists. Together, we brought the mural to life over an intensive 16-day installation. The final design spans 59 columns, each one adorned with unique icons that capture the energy, culture, and spirit of New Orleans.
